I just can't stand they produce so many good series and leave them to death just because the first seasons are not doing as well as expected...
Guys, let me tell you one thing, your shows go around the world and might be very popular outside of the US market !!!
F*** those financial guys and tell them to let us a chance to watch good series again for more than just one season...
HBO is a premium cable channel, It cost $11.50 to have this channel via Time Warner.
Yet they show so many movies that are under 3 stars - WTF.
Why am I paying for movies like "The Wizard" with Fred Savage.
Is it me that thinks this stinks?

It seems to be wall to wall extreme liberal slant documentaries and repeats 6 times a day of the coma inducing "In Treatment".
Canceling at the end of this month.
The little things matter, like on demand. It seems they are to big to take care of the little things. Viewing is supposed to be fun not frustrating. Good shows but a frustrating service, and thats why people say HBO sucks !!
OK, so I just sat through the HBO-"Zone" subchannel's presentation of "Primal Fear." While normally I can't stand watching Richard Gere OR Laura Linney, I feel like this film especially showcases an early demonstration of Edward Norton's extreme acting prowess. The movie is OK, but I really just sat through it to see the last five minutes (I don't want to ruin the ending, but it's the best part). Just as the last scene of the movie began, my screen became pixelated and the audio/visual started to glitch out. So after sitting through this mediocre film, I was unable to see the only scene I was interested in viewing. Thanks for NOTHING, HBO, you suck.
I can't remember the exact day we got HBO for the first time but it was a joyful day. It was a lot more expensive back then,1980's, but it had so much more to offer. The HBO guide that they USED to send out every month, for example. It was about 15-20 pages long and was filled with new movies. A typical movie would get played maybe 3-6 times a month, according to the schedule in the guide, and it was on you to make sure you recorded it if you wanted to watch it again.
Now 20 yrs later, HBO is a ghost of it's former glory. They don't bother to send out a guide at the begining of the month, because if they did, it would be 1 page long, due to the small quantity of movies. They have maybe 8 real movies a month mixed in with crap they produce soley because it is cheaper than getting a movie. Bill Maher and Ricky Gervais are funny enough, but it is so cheap when compared to the cost of getting a real movie which most of the time has real effort put into it.
They seek out the worst movies they can find, so it cost them less money to show to their audience. They repeat a movie 3-6 times a day, instead of 3-6 times a month. HBO plays old bad movies now, that they would not have played 20 years ago.
And its hit or miss with the series, which half the time they never end, they just leave you hanging. Spawn, Carnival, Deadwood never got a series finale but I have to sit through season fu*kin 5 of Big Love? There was a lot of hype over Boardwalk Empire and that show blew. And you better hope this Game of Thrones show is good or you guys are going to be fighting for ratings with the local Public Access Channel.
HBO Waste! What a waste of money! The movies are so old and repeated constantly! For what we are paying you are better off ordering a movie on your televison rather than paying for all these channels that are not watched... I figure I could order 5+ movies a month and still have a lower bill.
So my advise to everyone out there is to send a message to HBO CANCEL your subscriptions! Why give them money for something you are not viewing. TheY must think or know we are the fools.
HBO sucks because they have like one top of the line movie every three months! They have none of the good action and adventour movies. THey mostly show comedy. I dont mind comedy but they are usualy not on my must watch list.Im trying to see the Expendables, Conan, Transformers ext. but they play crap like Larry Crown, Diary of a shitty kid, and Crazy Stupit Love are you kidding me. THat stuff is crap. I geuss if you like the shows and boxing they are ok but all the good movies are on Epix. Damn cable trying to make a million channels and force us to pay monthly for each one of them when they each play like only 5 movies
HBO has some good Original programs. I love True Blood, Real Time, and lately The Newsroom. I like the HBO Boxing too. But how many times must they replay the same movies over and over, for months and months? We have movies that were made in the 80s, 90s and the 00-10 that were good. Big Mamma for example in a 3 monthy period has been aired over 60 times that I have surfed over. Maybe its a rights thing but wow, you cannot tell me that with the history of movies, they cannot come up with a better variety? A waste of money for me.
HBO suck because the play Bridesmaids like there's no tomorrow. They play crappy movies that I saw ten years ago. They're on demand list is half made up of "the making of" some shitty movie. WHy would I want to watch the making of a movie instead of a different movie. Canceling on Monday. I hate suddenlink too.
The only reason to pay for any of these "premium" channels are to watch their overrated shows.

HBO used to be awesome but now it sucks all together! Same crappy movies over and over and they label them new! NEW?! its the same crap they had on there like a month ago. Then they only have maybe 20 movies and sometimes 3 or more are MAKING OF. There are so many good movies out there but yet they play a couple good ones like 3-4 times in a month. The only reason I watch HBO now is for the series. So sick of getting home from work and wanting to watch a good movie and being EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED every time.

As someone else mentioned, I've had HBO since the 80's and it was such a cool thing in those days. Brain Games, Fraggle Rock, cool Christmas specials, and quality movies for the time. As a 16 year old, I remember watching Enemy Mine for the first time with my dad, and so many other good ones. Robocop, Iron Eagle, Commando, The Goonies, and Stand By Me. And the guide, the guide was so sweet. Now, HBO is a liberal yuppie channel, with repetitive showings of second rate movies for months on end. Bill Maher...is absolutely fucking horrible. They cancelled Deadwood and Carnival...two of the best series they've ever produced and the only thing they've got going for them is their series. Sopranos is finished. True Blood is finished. Game of Thrones and The Leftovers is it. (By the way...you can't tell me it cost more to produce Deadwood than it does GOT.) HBO, like MTV, started out good, but now it's shit. MTV = 100% shit, HBO = 99.9% shit.
I just recently signed up for cable and they gave me 3 free months of HBO. What a worthless channel. Movies that are 30 years old played dozens of times every week for months on end. Stupid series and even worse documentaries. I would NEVER pay even $1 per months for this garbage channel. FX is better-even with the commercials.

HBO sucks... their tech support is all but non-existant and they do NOT CARE if your experience is lousy... try to contact them is you disagree. They are a model of corporate greed and a blight on the artistic landscape. How many series have they cut short because of cost margins? What do they provide that is not underwritten by the ignorant and the synical masses? What poison would they not be willing to feed our collective consciences?
I agree tottaly. I see 1 maybe 2 movies every 3 to 4 months im actually interested in. The last 2 where the martian and jupiter ascending. They will play these for another 6 months.
HBO has ALWAYS sucked. I knew they sucked when they first came out and they always will suck. HBO is perverted and trashy. I have never paid for they're stuck on stupid programming and I never will. I only hear about them I Advertising. Game and thrones sucks, too, I keep hearing. I can't say, I never watched it. What tiny parts I did see made me want to puke.
With such worthless series as Girls, Vice and vinyl,and the libtard screechings of Bill Maher,John Oliver and Bill Simmons HBO has ruined a once great programming optiion.Congratulations,and RIP.
